We Have A Ghost

I wasn’t sure what to think of this at first, but as soon as I saw that it was directed by Christopher Landon of Freaky and the Death Day movies fame, I was instantly on board. Hell yes, I wanna see his take on a ghost story. This looks fun, and honestly probably more cutesy and family friendly than I would have expected, but still, very much on board with whatever Landon wants to do.

We Have A Ghost hits Netflix on February 24th.

The Strays

OK, I’m intrigued. But man, I’ve seen so many of these “social” horror films ever since Get Out was released, and hardly any of them were able to capture what made that movie special. I don’t want to dismiss this off hand, this is a feature length directorial debut from an actor, Nathaniel Martello-White, perhaps there is more to this than meets the eye.

The Strays will be released on Netflix on February 22nd.

Scream VI

One of a few repeats today since there didn’t seem to be a ton of trailers out this past week. Again, looks decent enough, I like the Jason Takes Manhattan vibe (or at least what the promise of that film was). The big city is a refreshing location for a slasher movie, and while I’m not necessarily the biggest fan of this franchise, I enjoy the entries, last one included, just enough to continue on.

Scream VI hits theaters on March 10th.

65

Like I said with the teaser, I’m all for dinosaur movies that have zero connections to the Jurassic Park franchise. It’s wild that despite the popularity of that franchise, there have not been any attempts to cash in on the dinosaur craze. This looks like a ton of fun, can’t wait.

65 will be unleashed in theaters on March 17th.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves

I recall this getting a lot of hate around the time the first trailer came up, but it seems like people are warming up to it. And I think it’s deserved, this looks like some really goofy fun. Albeit, not much more than that, but that’s all this ever really needed to be. Plus, this is from the guys behind Game Night, which is a hell of a good comedy, and I’m curious to see how they handle a big project like this.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves opens in theaters on March 31st.

Huesera: The Bone Woman

Well, that certainly looks intense. And I’m only talking about all the pregnancy anxieties. Add horror weirdness on top of all that, and you are not going to have a good time, that’s for sure. Can’t say I’m familiar with director, Michelle Garza Cervera, but I like the vibe she’s setting up here, and it looks like it’ll be a pretty creepy time. Definitely gonna keep an eye out for this one.

Huesera: The Bone Woman will be released in select theaters on February 10th before being available on VOD platforms on February 16th.
