So, not a ton of surprises. Even the upsets like no nomination for Charles Melton, nothing for All Of Us Strangers, no directing nod for Greta Gerwig,  No out-of-nowhere additions. Which, I guess means it’s just business as usual, but outside of stuff like Maestro and Nyad, there’s not much here that I’m like mad that it got nominated, most of these are very deserving. It is unfortunate that we feel the need to pit art against one another, and leave other deserving names out of the conversation. Oh well.
