Trailer Talk: Bill & Ted Face The Music, 7500, and more!

Bill & Ted Face The Music

I’ve waited so long for this, and I am not disappointed. This is a really solid, little teaser. It doesn’t give much, but it does reassure us that the general vibe of the thing will feel like a natural addition to the previous two films. I’m very curious how people not super familiar with the Bill & Ted movies will react to this. But as for me, I’m so happy.

Bill & Ted Face The Music will hopefully hit theaters on August 21st.

7500

Man, I’ve been really missing Joseph Gordon-Levitt. I haven’t seen him in a movie in a long time. So, naturally, the one we finally see him in is a movie where we will literally see him acting his butt off for the entire time by himself. This trailer worked for me. I like the simple setup. It seems like something that I’m surprised hasn’t already been done, but it definitely makes for a tense situation. I can’t say I’m expecting a lot, but it looks good.

7500 arrives on Amazon Prime on June 19th.

You Should Have Left

I’m sorry, I’m just really struggling with seeing Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried as a couple. It looks so weird. That aside, I feel like a movie like this could go either way, and the fact that it’s from David Koepp, who doesn’t have the most consistent filmography ever, doesn’t help things. I do like these actors, and the setup certainly provides ample opportunities for effectively creepy moments. I am curious to see what the deal is with the house, but I’m not gonna hold my breath for this one.

You Should Have Left hits VOD platforms on June 19th.

Skyman

This film is from Daniel Myrick, who is most notably one of the directors behind The Blair Witch Project. I can’t say I’ve seen much of his work outside of Blair Witch stuff like Solstice or The Objective, but I’m into this. If you’ve read my review for The Vast Of Night, you know alien nonsense is 100% my jam, and this is definitely my jam. I’m definitely looking forward to this.

Skyman will open in select drive-ins and VOD platforms on June 30th.
