SDCC Trailer Talk: Glass

Universal did their panel at the San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, in which M. Night Shyamalan finally unleashed the trailer for the highly anticipated Glass after three days of teasing. You can check out the trailer here:

That is one hell of a trailer. I got to see Split at AFI Fest, a few months before it came out, and I vividly remember the crowd going wild when the big reveal happened in the end, making it clear that the film takes place in the same universe as Shyamalan’s 2000 superhero deconstruction, Unbreakable.

It’s cool seeing these three characters together, and I can’t wait to see how their personalities all clash. I’m glad Anya Taylor-Joy is back as Casey, and Sarah Paulson is always great in whatever she’s in. Plus, it’s been a while since we’ve seen Bruce Willis look like he’s actually invested in a project, so that’s something. I know a lot of fans are incredibly excited for this, so fingers crossed that they knock it out of the park.

Glass will hit theaters on January 18, 2019.
