John Wick: Chapter 3 Has Some New Cast Members

Get ready. Sit down if you have to because this is a lot.

Alright, so the third installment of the John Wick series has just announced some new cast members. According to The Hollywood Reporter, here is who you can expect to see next year.

Halle Berry (who is playing Sofia, allegedly not a villain), Anjelica Huston (who will play a figure known as as “The Director”), Asia Kate Dillon (who will play “The Adjudicator of the High Table”), Mark Dacascos (who will be an assassin named Zero), Jason Mantzoukas (is playing someone called “The Tick Tock Man”), Tiger Hu Chen, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman!

You can’t tell by reading this, but just picture me fainting and getting back up to finish writing this. I love this cast, I love the variety, and I love that we have guys from recent great martial arts movies to kick ass here. And with names like “The Director,” and “The Tick Tock Man,” is looks like Chapter 3 will lean on the comic book worldbuilding sensibilities harder than ever before, and that’s a great thing in my opinion.

I adore the John Wick films, and it looks like Chapter 3 is not messing around. This is gonna be a long wait, but I’m sure it will be all worth it.

John Wick: Chapter 3 is scheduled to release on May 17, 2019.
